Party weekend set up ideas and info.

Let's get the planning done here. This probably doesn't need saying, but Steve doesn't know anything except Atlantic city some weekend, so try to keep this forum secret to the people that are going to go, and we'll keep Stevie on a need to know basis. I'm going to try to get a few people from each group of friends on here, but then if you think someone should be on here that isn't, make sure to call them or email them and get them on here. Ok. I was thinking Atlantic city sometime in august for a weekend. Well get a nice hotel and party and gamble it up. We could golf or whatever. I'm down for whatever, but I thought some people would have their own ideas, like curt will probably want a male stripper.

August 12 weekend is out bc of a wedding. I'm definitely driving. I'm trying to get a date . Just sent out some more emails so we should start getting some peeps in here.

This is the weekend. So a roll call of who's in would be nice. If anyones got spare time, do some research on hotels or casinos and look for some awesomeness and some good deals. I'd like to get something booked so let me know who's in.

Ok, I am looking at the Borgata and it looks like 1 king or 2 queens is running 149 during the week and bumps up to 450 on sat. i think it was 350 on friday. I am down with any days i just need to go ahead and take off from work ASAP. If we can go ahead and set a date it will be much easier to get rates on rooms.... Also, I am down with a golf game too. I will keep looking and get back atcha

I think Stan is right about the borgata. It seems like they and harrahs have the best reviews for hotel casinos. On the borgata website it seems like they have 2 queen fiorrre suites for about 400 per night which will fit 4 people. It also seems like aug 19 is going to be the date. Check In Friday check out Sunday morning. pretty much every other weekend is a conflict for a couple of us or Stevie ray. Looks like were going to be spending about 200 apiece for hotel.

I've gone to the borgata site and you can book a Fiore suite for about 880. 4 people can stay. Do a search for the weekend for 4 people.

Sounds fairly discouraging to drive 8 hrs for. Reading the comments on the link made it fairly discouraging to drive 8 min. for. Is it worth considering another destination? I think the date works fine for me...

I agree that the place seems like a shithole, but what's the alternative? I don't care so much about the drive, but it's more like 5 for me. And flying somewhere adds extra expenses. Steve was down with the idea. I don't care about being some douche buying "bottles" at the club in the VIP lounge. As long as there's shit to do, I'm down. I figured we can find a palatable place to get some drinks and do some gambling there. Are you thinking Vegas or something else Carter? any other place to gamble that's closer?

I wouldn't mind going to Vegas, but it would be uncomfortably expensive for me. There are around 10 newer casinos that have opened up in PA in the last 2-3 yrs. Sands in Bethlehem has some good reviews. Parx east is just east of Philly and has good reviews but doesn't offer any "Comps" for players. They have a weekly holdem tourney on saturday at 2pm for $230, and some cash games as well. No rooms at parx, so we would hafta stay in a hotel nearby. We need to ask some of the Frizzaks what they know about the area. I'm just looking at options while we still have some time. The more the feedback the better from all of us.

I hope we are not seriously going to consider PA. at least AC has the beach....and bikinis .it will still be beach weather and plenty of party people.

I was thinking the appeal of AC was to gamble, and PA has better gambling options. Florida has many casinos and beaches with cleaner water...

Atlantic city is the place. It's just too centrally located to pass up. Nobody has to fly. I'm sure fl is pimp, but the borgata or wherever will have adequate gambling and I don't know how much beach time were going to fit into a day and a half. I only have fri to sun. So back to place to stay. Anyone have any preferences in a place? Anyone been to ac? anyone think the borgata rooms are a bad idea?

tropicana has a 3 bedroom GANGSTA sweet straight out of the hangover. 10 G's a night. out of my league, but. Tropicana and Taj Mahal....both have nice 2 queen rooms for 324.00 a night. i am looking for someone who wants to share a room... i am gettin my own bed. ANYone???? SO far it seems like we only have about what 5-6 guys going???

Hello everyone,
Were getting down to the nitty gritty and I'm going to pull the trigger on reserving some rooms.  The forum has not been too successful with input so were back to email.  My foremost priority is to find out who's going.  It looks like the rooms are going to be about 300 to 400 for two bed rooms.  Taj mahal and tropicana are on the boardwalk and the borgata is off by itself but it's got the best reviews.  Please let Shawn brown know about this, I haven't received his email.  Thanks to Carter for chipping In with feedback.  So please  REPLY AND LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE GOING AND ALSO WHERE YOU VOTE TO STAY.  I would surely appreciate it if reply ASAP so I can gauge what we will have going on.  Reply on  The forum or reply to me, just reply.  Also, letting me know if there's a group of you that wants to stay together, that would be cool too.  Thanks for the quick reply.
